Sock Studio · Last updated: 17 July 2026
Sock Studio is designed to respect your privacy. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
Sock Studio does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. There is no account, no sign-up, and no server. Everything you enter stays on your device.
You may enter data such as body/foot measurements, yarn details, gauge, sock design choices, profiles, patterns, and projects. All of this is stored locally on your device only. It is never sent to us or to any third party.
The app can optionally use your camera or photo library so you can attach a photo of a yarn swatch or finished socks to a project. Any photo you attach is stored locally as part of that project and is never uploaded or transmitted. The app only accesses your camera or photos when you explicitly choose to add an image.
Sock Studio contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Because no data leaves your device, there is nothing for us to share or sell. When you export a pattern or project as a PDF, that file is created on your device and shared only when and where you choose to share it, using your device's standard sharing options.
Your data remains on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes all locally stored Sock Studio data.
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
